Alberta Buckno

Alberta B. Buckno, 93 of Slatington died Saturday October 10, 2015 at Fellowship Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Buckno, who died in 1976. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Amos. J. and Bertie Mae (Weaver) Gruber. Alberta worked for the former Bethlehem Steel, and in maintenance at Dorney Park.
Survivors: Son; Bruce G. Buckno and wife Nancy of Whitehall. Daughter; Alicia B. Buckno of Slatington. Grandchildren; Christopher and Gregory Buckno. She was the last survivor of 14 siblings.
Services: 11am Saturday October 17, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11am at the funeral home.
