Alden L. "Chub"ì³Œ Farber, Sr. 72 of Schnecksville died Saturday December 7, 2013 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Carol A. (Morris) Farber; they celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary this past July. Born in Slatington, he was the son of the late Roy Sr. and Lottie (Hallman) Farber. Chub worked for Alpo Pet Foods as a forklift operator for 38years before retiring. He was an avid Eagles and Penn State Football fan.

Survivors: Wife; Son; Alden L. "Chub"ì³Œ Farber, Jr. and wife Jamie of Slatington. Daughter; Kim and husband Keith Snyder of Fogelsville, Grandchildren; Erin, Brandon, Brennan, Nathan, & Ryan. Great Grandchildren; Ashlyn, Thomas, and Samantha. Brothers; Douglas and Roy Farber Jr. Sister; Diane and husband Ken Werley. He was pre-deceased by brother James and Byron "?Barry"ì³Œ Farber.

Services: Will be private. Arrangements Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
