Allen D. "Blackie"쳌 Reiner, 72, of Danielsville, passed away September 30, 2009, in his home. He was the husband of Madeline (Rehrig) Reiner, they celebrated their 55th anniversary last October. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Robert & Helen (Muthard) Reiner. "Blackie"쳌 owned and operated R & R Plumbing & heating for many years.

Survivors: Wife, son, Scott & wife Evelyn Reiner of Friedens, daughters, Sharon & husband Joseph Malia of Allentown, Susan & husband Jerry Gibby of Florida, Sheila & husband Edward Rosinski of Virginia, grandchildren, Melissa & husband Alex, Seanna, Nick & Doug, step grandchildren, Brian & wife Alison, Michael & wife Jennifer, Victoria, step great grandchildren, Jared & Owen, brother, David & wife Marie Reiner, sisters, Gloria Hawk, Eileen & husband Art Thompson, Fayeann Reiner, nieces, nephews & cousins. Allen was predeceased by brothers, Milford, Robert Jr., Donald, Rodger and Lawrence and a sister, Joyce Ahner.

Services: Friday October 2, 2009, 7:30pm, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the funeral home.
