Ann Marie Scott

Ann Marie Scott, 79, of Slatington passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.   Born in Slatington on July 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Cantwell) Scott.   Ann Marie worked for the former Galio’s Market / Slatington Beverage for many years until its closing.   She was a faithful member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Slatington, where she was active with the prayer shawl ministry and the Altar & Rosary Society.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Society
She is survived by siblings: Thomas Scott of Slatington, Patricia and husband Larry Turoscy of Slatington, Sheila Perilla of AZ, James Scott and wife Sandy of Whitehall, Michael Scott and wife Jane of Slatington, Christopher Scott of Slatington, many nieces & nephews.  She was pre-deceased by a brother Hugh Scott and sisters, Monica Scott and Margaret Jessup.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Assumption BVM Catholic Church, 649 W. Washington Street, Slatington PA.  Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM.   Interment to follow mass at parish cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Assumption BVM Memorial Fund.   Arrangements are under the care of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
