Benjamin R. Craig,

85, of Slatington, passed away, May 30, 2013 in his home. He was the husband of the late Dolores M. (Spadt) Craig. Born in Slatington he was the son of the late Paul C. & Anna L. (Lynn) Craig. Ben worked for American Nickeloid in Walnutport for many years as a Machinist before retiring in 19991. Ben enjoyed the outdoors, and was an avid hunter. As a youth he was a member of BSOA troop 65, and in later years he was assistant scout Master of troop 66 BSOA Slatington.

Survivors: Sons, Paul H. & wife Carol L. Craig of Halifax and James R. & wife Sheila Craig of Healy, Alaska. Companion Madeline Krawchuk, Laurel MD. Two granddaughters, Lydia, and Anna Craig. Ben was predeceased by his daughter, Beth E. Graver in 1991.

Memorial Service: 7:30pm, June 4, 2013 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington Calling period will be 6-7:30pm at the funeral home. Interment Wednesday June 4, 2013 11:00 ARE Union Cemetery Slatington
