Blanche Follweiler

Blanche E. Follweiler, 104, formerly of Slatington passed away May 17, 2012 in Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli. She was the wife of the late Leland J. Follweiler. Born in Little Gap, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon and Stella (Serfass) Green. Blanche worked as a weaver for the former Stanwood Mills from 1934 to 1973 before retiring. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Slatington. Blanche loved crafts and her bowling league. Survivors: Daughter, June and husband George Morrow of Macungie; sons, Robert L. Follweiler and wife Jeanette and Bruce Follweiler and wife Nancy both of Bethlehem; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Harding Funeral Home, Inc., 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
