Claudine E. Walters, 87 of Akron, PA formerly of Slatington died Monday May 25, 2015 at Maple Farm Nursing Home, Akron. She was the wife of Lee A. Walters of Akron. Born in Lehigh Furnace. She was the daughter of the late John and Lilly (Walters) White. Claudine worked in retail sales and also as a homemaker.
Survivors: Husband, Daughters; Mary Hemphill of TX, Nancy and husband Rich Jugelewicz of FL. Sons; Lee J. Walters of Quakertown, Norman Walters and wife Wendy of Pipersville. 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren. Sister; Ethel Jones of Slatington. She was pre-deceased by brothers Elwood, Kermit, Sterling and Leonard White and sisters Aldene and Eleanor.
Services 11:00 am Saturday May 30, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11am. Interment to follow at Slatedale Cemetery.
