Dawn E. Mummey

Dawn E. Mummey, 68, of Slatington passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday January 22, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Bartine S. Mummey, whom she married February 21, 1981. Born in Allentown on December 26, 1956, she was the daughter of the late John and Roma (Kern) Bisko. She was a graduate of Slatington High School, Class of 1974. Dawn worked for Lehigh Valley Health Network for 33 years in several different departments. She enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, spending time in nature and most of all, being a grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she will be lovingly remembered by a son: Bartine T. Mummey of Wescosville; daughter: Amanda D. and husband Jeremy Kale of Murrysville; grandchildren: Olivia & Lucas; sisters: Judy and husband Edward Wanamaker, Bonnie and husband James Haydt, Scarlet Bisko. She was pre-deceased by siblings, Peter, Randy and Rosemary.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St, Slatington. Family and friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11AM.
