Dennis S. Doherty

Dennis S. Doherty, 70, of Walnutport, formerly of Abington, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, in his home.   Born in Abington on December 17, 1952, he was the son of the late Norman and June (Williamson) Doherty.  Dennis served in the marine corp and worked as a contractor / roofer for various companies over the years. Dennis enjoyed sports and was particularly fond of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies baseball team. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who lived with him.  

He will be lovingly remembered by son: Daniel Doherty and his spouse Amanda, grandchildren: Jasiah, Lamya, Colton, and Wyatt.

A graveside service will held at 12noon on Monday, January 9, 2023, at White Marsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler PA 19002.   No calling hours.  Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
