Donald L. Benninger, Sr.



Donald L. Benninger, Sr., 77, of Walnutport, passed away December 3, 2012, in Blue Mountain Health Care System, Palmerton. He was the husband of the late Shirley B. (Fatzinger) Benninger.

Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late Clifford & Ada (Deibert) Benninger. Donald worked at Stroh's Brewing as a forklift operator before retiring in 1996. He also worked part time for Leibensperger driving a bus. He was a member of the TPA. Survivors: Children, Donald Jr. & his wife Sanday Benninger, Claudia & her husband Steve Faust, Todd & his wife Annette Benninger, grandson, Jeremy. Donald was predeceased by his grandson Justin Thomas Benninger, brother Floyd Benninger and sister, Harriet Muhr.

Services: 11:00am, Friday, December 7, 2012 at Hope Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Dr., Cherryville. Calling, Friday, from 10:00am to 11:00am in the church. Interment to follow at Indianland Cemetery.
