Dorothy E. Gable

Dorothy E. Gable, 80, of Walnutport, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, in her home. She was the wife of George G. Gable, whom she married on November 29, 1991. Born in Trenton, GA, she was the last surviving child born to the late Homer P. and Eva J. (Wooden) Gass. Dorothy worked as a sewing machine operator for various companies including the former Slatington Manufacturing.

In addition to her husband George, she will be lovingly remembered by her children: Dawn M. Ressler of Nazareth, Michael A. Ressler and wife Tina of Danielsville; Jason Crippen and wife Lorie of Alburtis, Melissa J. Frankenfield of Slatington; grandchildren: Michael Ressler, Jr., Morgan Strohl, John Holota, Jelissa Frankenfield; 2 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held. No public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
