Douglas P. Rindge

Douglas P. Rindge, 79, of Slatington, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.   He was the husband of Virginia S. (Smith) Rindge, whom he married November 10, 1961.   Born in Cortland, NY, on April 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Donald B. and Marguerite (Bliss) Rindge.   Douglas earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from DeSalles University.   He worked as an accountant for many years for Brockway Motors, a division of Mack Trucks, before retiring in 2001.   Doug was a member of United Presbyterian Church of Slatington.

In addition to his wife Virginia, he is survived by daughters: Deanna and husband Leonard Christman of Marathon, NY, Debra and husband Christopher Yeager of Northampton; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a daughter Lori Thornton in 2020.

Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
