Douglas H. Scarl Jr., 51, of Walnutport, passed away September 4, 2012, in his home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Shirley (Bernd) Scarl of Walnutport and the late Douglas H. Scarl, Sr . Douglas worked in the past for Suburban Cable Company. Doug had played for ABB Softball.

Survivors: Mother, children, Amanda Scarl & her companion, Jacob Schuster of Slatington, Candice Wilson & her fiancé Michael Lawrence of Bethlehem and Michael Scarl of Allentown, grandchildren, Kylie Lawrence, Zachary Scarl and Amber Scarl, brothers, Harold & wife Wanda Scarl of Mertztown and Rockie & wife Ann Scarl of Whitehall, sister, Tami Hauk & Fiancé Barry Hausman of Slatedale, nieces & nephews.

Services: 7:00PM, Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour 6:00-7:00PM in the funeral home.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the funeral home.
