Elaine Schaeffer

Elaine M. Schaeffer, 73 of Slatington died Sunday June 14, 2015 at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Donald P. Schaeffer who died in 2002. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Charles Sr., and Elizabeth (Papay) Andrulevich. Elaine received her MA in music from Moravian College. She worked as a music teacher in the Northampton School district at the George Wolf Elementary School until retiring. She was an accomplished flute player, a member of the Allentown Marine Band, and a member of the Assumption BVM church choir.
Survivors: Daughter; Nanette M. Benner Stuart of Clermont, Fl. Son; Todd M. Benner, Sr. and wife Juanita of Walnutport. Step Daughter; Donna M. Schaeffer Warner and husband Lon Warner of Northampton. Grandchildren; Jessica M, and Brittany M. Stuart, Todd M. Jr,. and Travis M. Benner, Samantha and Sydney Warner. Brothers; Charles and Ronald Andrulevich. Nieces & Nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Anthony Andrulevich.
Services: 11:00am Friday June 19, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington Pa. Calling hour 6-8pm Thursday June 18 and 10-11am Friday. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
