Elizabeth L. Kistler

Elizabeth L. “Betsy” Kistler, 80, formerly of Slatington, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, at Gracedale.   She was the wife of the late Norman J. Kistler, who passed away in 2007.    Born in Allentown on January 21, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Agnes Ferrie.   Betsy worked for many at various garments factories and also worked as the cleaning lady for the American Legion Post 16.   She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.

She will be lovingly remembered by sons: Rick L. Kistler, Sr., of Weisport, Jeffrey Kistler, Sr., of Danielsville; daughters: Lisa A. Kern, Wanda M. Haas, both of Slatington; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held.  No calling hours.  Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
