Elizabeth K. Martlock

Elizabeth Kathryn (DeFrain) Martlock, 46, of Orwigsburg, PA, passed away, Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at home.  She was the wife of Douglas N. Martlock. Elizabeth was born in Lancaster, PA on October 23, 1976 to Raymond M. DeFrain, Sr. and Kathryn V. (Christman) DeFrain of Slatington, PA. Elizabeth graduated from Northern Lehigh High School in 1994 and was a graduate of the culinary program at Northampton Community College. She previously worked as a professional chef but after her children were born, raising them full time became the joy of her life.  Elizabeth was a Christian and member of Slatington Baptist Church, Slatington, PA. 

Survivors:
In addition to her husband of 20 years; children: Olivia Mae Martlock and Evelyn Irene Martlock, both of Orwigsburg; sister: Anouré V. Fenstermaker (Robert) of New Tripoli, PA; brother: Raymond M. DeFrain, Jr. (Allison) of Valparaiso, IN; nephews and nieces; Owen and Mya Bassett of Easton, PA, Dominick and Spencer Fiore of Bethlehem, Rhys and Sadie Fenstermaker of New Tripoli, Reagan and Madison DeFrain of Valparaiso, and Gabriella and Riley Toto of Ogdensburg, NJ; numerous family and friends.

Services:
Family and friends are invited to the funeral services on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 11 am at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 North 2nd Street, Slatington, PA 18080. Viewing to be held in the evening of Monday, November 14, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow funeral services on Tuesday at Ebenezer Union Cemetery, 7293 Decatur Street, New Tripoli, PA.

Flowers can be sent to the Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the children’s future education needs. Checks should be made payable to Harding Funeral Home, with Elizabeth's name in the memo.
