Elsie Kroboth

Baptized Elizabeth Kroboth, aka Elsie E., 96, formerly of Walnutport, passed away peacefully Sunday morning November 7, 2021, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehab, Lehighton.  Born in Walnutport on May 27, 1925, to the late John and Theresa (Ofner) Kroboth, she was the last of ten siblings.  Elsie worked a brief time at the Blue Ridge Knitting Mill and for many years at Paris Accessories until retiring.  She was a long-time faithful member of St. Nicholas Catholic Parish where she volunteered for many years, also volunteered for Lehigh Township Fire Co., and Sacred Heart Hospital, and for family wherever she was needed.
Elsie is survived by special nieces & nephews – they know who they are!  Great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and sister-in-law: Margaret Kroboth, as well as church family and clergy.  She is predeceased by sisters, Theresa Braun, Mary Peters, Rose Rockel; brothers, John, Charles, Frank, Edward, Alfred and Walter Kroboth.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at St Nicholas Catholic Church, 1152 Oak Rd, Walnutport.   Burial of cremains to follow at the parish cemetery.   Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
