Emma Green

Emma M. Green, 97 formerly of Slatington died Friday January 17, 2014 in Whitehall Manor. She was the companion of Lewis J. Hershman for more than 40 years before he died in 1995. Born in Pennsburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Anthony) Stoneburner. Emma worked for the former Robbie Sue as a sewing machine operator for many years. She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville.

Survivors: Children; Lowis J. Hershman of Allentown, Donald Hershman of Saylorburg, Jeanette and husband Roger Spadt of Walnutport. 5 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Emma was pre-deceased by a daughter Geraldine Green, and a brother William Bartholemas.

Services: 11:00am Wednesday January 22, 2014 Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 500 Church Rd, Palmerton. Calling hour 10-11am at the church. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. Arrangements Harding Funeral Home, Slatington
