Ernest C. White



Ernest C. White, 65, of Slatington, passed away September 18, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Sandra E. (Knittle) White, they celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary last October. Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late Charles & Mildred (Fritzinger) White. Ernest worked at several car dealerships in the area before working as a mechanic for Prince Manufacturing in Bowmanstown for 25 years. Prior to retirement, he worked at Schleichers.

Survivors: His wife, sons, Daniel & wife Tammy White, Thomas & wife Vicky White and Phillip White all of Slatington, six grandchildren, six and soon to be seven great grandchildren, brother, James White of Slatington and sister Ann & husband Edward Becker of NY.

Services: 10:30am, Saturday, September 22, 2012 at, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour, 9:30-10:30am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Slatedale Cemetery.
