Esther M. Weinman, 93, formerly of Mountville, Brodheadsville & Slatington, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Garden at Stevens, Stevens, PA. She was the wife of the late Leonard E. Weinman, who passed away in 1996. Born in Allentown on February 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Phaon and Carrie (Hoffman) German. Most of Esther's working years were spent at home, caring for her family. She did work briefly for the former Western Electric. Esther was a member of the Fairview Senior Citizens Club, the Kunkletown Senior Citizens Club, and enjoyed many bus trips and attending local senior citizens events. She was also a member of the Mountville Lions Club. While living in Brodheadsville, Esther volunteered at the Pleasant Valley School District, helping the students with crafts.

She will be lovingly remembered by sons: David P. Weinman and wife Teresa of Saylorsburg, Jeffrey M. Weinman and wife Michele of Mountville; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings, Carl and Robert German, Margaret Grim, Irene Rasch.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Assumption BVM Parish Cemetery, 7th Street, Slatington. No public calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis TN 38105 or Mountville Lions Club, Mountville, PA.
