Eva A. Thomas



Eva A. Thomas, 91 formerly of Walnutport went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Thomas. Born in Pennsville, she was the daughter of Charles J. and Amanda (Gross) Jacoby. Eva worked as a machine operator for various factories throughout the area. She was a member of Good Shepherd UCC, Slatington and taught Sunday school at Christ UCC in Walnutport for numerous years. Eva was past president of the VFW Post 7215 Auxiliary.

Survivors: Son; Richard C. Thomas of Walnutport, Grandchildren, Richard L. & wife Felicia Thomas and Shawn R. Thomas, great grandchildren, Amber & Morgan Thomas.

Services: 11 AM Monday August 20, 2012 Good Shepherd UCC, 3940 Mountain Rd, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11:00am at the church. Arrangements: Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington.
