Hedy L. Case

Hedy L. Case, 74, of North Catasauqua, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.   She was the wife of George K. Case, whom she married September 23, 2000.   Born in Allentown on September 30, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Clara (Gildner) Youse.   Hedy spent 35 years working in the banking industry, retiring in 2005 as branch manager of the Schoenersville Wachovia Branch.   She was a member of St. John’s UCC, Slatington.   Hedy loved to travel and enjoyed her many vacations up along the east coast from Maine to the Carolinas.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, George; brother-in-law: Frank Solt of Slatington; Father & Mother-in-law: George & Marian Case of Whitehall; sister-in-law: Diane Peters of Whitehall; niece: Stacey and husband Glenn Heller, and their son Jackson of Bernville.  She was predeceased by siblings, Robert Youse, Eunice Diehl, Peggy Solt.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington.   Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM.  Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. John’s UCC. 15 S. 2nd St, Slatington, 18080.
