Hilda J. Steirer

Hilda J. Steirer, 94, of Walnutport, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, in her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Steirer, who passed away in 1993. Born in Allentown on September 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Hofner) Wunderler. Hilda worked as an executive secretary to the president of Tarkett. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her son-law: Russell Boyer; daughter-in-law: Paula Steirer; granddaughter: Rachael Boyer; nieces & nephews.   She was pre-deceased by a son, Joseph Steirer, daughter, Michelle Kerecz and grandson, Jason Steirer

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 4412 W. Mountain View Dr, Walnutport. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM at church. Interment to follow mass at the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
