Howard Schoenberger, Sr.

Howard M. Schoenberger, Sr., 94, of Walnutport passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 in his son’s home. He was the husband of the late Mildred (Kloiber) Schoenberger, they were married for 57 years prior to her death in 2006. Born in Bethlehem on October 2, 1926, he was the son of the late Raymond and Lillian (Correll) Schoenberger. Howard served his country honorably and proudly in the US Navy during WWII. He began his career working as a carpenter, then worked as a dock worker for Branch Motors of Allentown. Howard was a member of Little Moore UCC Church, Moore Township.
He is survived by sons: Howard M. Schoenberger, Jr. and wife Donna of WI, Bruce Schoenberger and wife Christine of Danielsville, Alfred Schoenberger of Walnutport; 6 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington PA. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11AM. Interment with military honors to follow at New Hope Cemetery, Moore Township, PA.
