Irene F. Ulicny, 86, formerly of Slatington, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, in the home of her daughter. She was the wife of the late George Ulicny, who passed away in 2017. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Irene (Serfass) Lauchnor. Irene retired from NIS, National Inserting Systems, after 14 years. Prior to that, she was a supervisor for General Electric.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Colleen Yezik and husband Gary Blose of Allentown; grandchildren: James Yezik, II and significant other Erin Healy, Chelcie I. and husband Jose Amortegui; step-grandson: Matthew Blose and fiancé Jennifer Hernandez; sisters: Marguerite and husband John Marino of Slatington, Kathryn Zellers of Hellertown. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Barbara Scheckler.

No services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, 640 Dixon Street, Allentown PA 18103
