James White

James M. "Whitey"쳌 White, 71 of Slatington died Wednesday July 17, 2013. He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (Knittle) White who died in 1998. Born in Walnutport, he was the son of the late Charles "Mickey"쳌 and Mildred (Fritzinger) White. James retired from the American Nickeloid. Prior to that, he worked for the former Serfass Exxon in Slatington. Following his retirement, he worked part time for Blue Mountain Pressure Casting. He was an avid antique clock collector and restorer, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors: Sons; Jesse A. White and wife Tammy of New Tripoli, Robert C. White and wife Susan of Germansville, and Andrew J. White and wife Katrina of Bowmanstown. 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandson. Sister "?Ann and husband Edward Becker of Allegheny, NY. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Ryan, and a brother Ernest.

Services: 11AM Monday July 22, 2013 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11Am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Slatedale Cemetery.
