John Cyphers

John E. Cyphers, 86, of Bethlehem, formerly of Dunnellon, FL, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest.   He was the husband of Shirley (Leibensperger) Cyphers, whom he married on August 25, 1956.   John was a graduate of Allentown High School.   He retired from Weinstein Supply, working in Plumbing/Heating Sales for many years.   John was an avid golfer, and also a served as deacon at St. Andrew’s UCC, Allentown.

In addition to his wife Shirley, he is survived by daughters: June wife of Douglas Heller, Christine wife of John Frace, both of Slatington.   Grandchildren: Amanda Heller, Laura and husband Jamie Gregson, Cortney and husband Louis Szoke, Jill and husband James Kern, Zachary Frace and wife Jessie; 10 great-grandchildren; sister: Marjorie and husband Dale Wieder.  He was pre-deceased by a sister: Evelyn and her husband Moulton Frantz.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.   Arrangements are under the care of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
