Kevin Smith

Kevin T. Smith, 68 of Slatington died Monday August 17, 2015 in his residence. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late John W. and Helen (Fitzsimmons) Smith. Kevin was a 1964 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic. He then graduated from Villanova University in 1968 with a B.S in Marketing/Math. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Kevin was the former owner of Kern’s Floral Shop in Slatington for 33 years until his retirement in 2005. Prior to that, he worked as a research analyst for PPL. He was a member of the American Legion Post 16, Slatington, a member of the Slatington Lions Club, the Slatington Moose, a former member of the Lehigh Valley Florist Assn, and was a founding member of the Lehigh Valley Blues Network.
Survivors: Son; Erin M. Smith of Emmaus. Daughter; Crystal L. Smith of Chicago, IL. 2 grandchildren; Ariana & Ryan Smith. Brother; Brian Smith of CA.
