Lee “Pierce” Klinger, 60 of Slatington died Monday December 7, 2015 in his home. He was the husband of Gailmarie V. (Levulis) Klinger; they celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary this past June. Born in Allentown, and raised in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Thomas R. and Lelia R. (Pierce) Klinger. Following his high school graduation, he began working at Bethlehem Steel as a crane operator. He then worked for Mittal Steel Facility in Coatesville, Pa. Pierce was an avid fisherman and bottle collector since the age 16. He was formerly involved with boy scouts, and Catasauqua football and wrestling. Survivors: Wife, Sons; Jarrett Thomas Klinger of Slatington, Lee Stehley of Brooklyn, NY. Daughter; Rachel Marie Klinger and fiancé Chris Ahner of Palmerton. Brother; Thomas Klinger and wife Bonne of Harrisburg. Sister; Jane Klinger and husband J. E. Herndon, III of NC. Services: 7pm Friday December 11, 2015 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N.
