Lee W. "Billy" Krause

Lee W. “Billy” Krause, 90, of Slatedale, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, in his home.   He was the husband of Elizabeth S. (Roth) Krause of Lehighton.   Born in Slatedale on June 27, 1931, he was the son of the late Lewis and Sadie (German) Krause.   Billy worked for the former Bethlehem Steel in various capacities, before retiring in 1993.   He was a member of the Slatedale Fire Co., the Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club, and a former member the Germansville Fire Co.
In addition to his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by a daughter: LeAnne Krause and her fiancé Ronald Everitt of Slatedale; Grandchildren: Steven Blose and wife Robin, Aaron Blose, Jonathan Everitt, Lynette Everitt; great-grandchildren: William, Brooke, Alex.  He was predeceased by his siblings, LaMar Krause, his twin Lynwood Krause, Louis Krause, LoRain Krause, and LaMae Bilheimer.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Slatedale Cemetery, Brown St, Slatedale.   No Calling hours.   Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home.
