Lillian Roberts

Lillian A. Roberts, 87 died Tuesday May 10, 2016 at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of James W. Roberts; they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on April 15. Born in Clausville, she was the daughter of the late Theresa Herbst. Lillian was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Slatington. She worked as a sewing machine operator for various factories throughout the area.
Survivors: Husband, Sons; Ronald W. Roberts of Crisco, Peter J. Roberts and wife Ginger of Fountain Hill. Daughter; Linda L. and husband Chris Schew of Schuylkill Haven. Grandchildren; Larry, Andrew, Kristina, Lucas, & Sabrina. Great Granddaughter; Aubrey. Sister; Elizabeth Herbst. She was pre-deceased by brothers Rudolph, Francis, Louis, and Joseph Herbst, and sisters; Helen Herbst and Theresa Wirth.
Services: 11am Saturday May 14, 2016 United Presbyterian Church. 6750 PA Rte 873, Slatington. Calling hour 10-11 at the church. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
