Mamie E. Berger

Mamie E. Berger, 80, of Orefield, formerly of Slatington, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.   She was the former wife of Chester Shiner, Sr., and the late John Berger.   Born in Allentown on February 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Reichard) Anthony.   

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Chester Shiner, Jr., and wife Michele of Emerald, Jeff Shiner and wife Ann Marie of Whitehall, Carl Shiner of Orefield; daughters: Mona and husband Bob Kibler of Slatington, Cathy and husband Tony Hudak of Slatington; grandchildren: Christine Shiner, Kevin Kuntz, Jr., Brittany Kistler, Timmy Shiner, Sarrah Shiner, Bob Kibler, Jr., Jeffrey Kistler, Jr.; brother: Martin Anthony; sister; Hilda Fatzinger.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amanda Shiner.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA, 18109.   No Calling hours.   Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
