Margaret A. Atherholt, 93, formerly of Walnutport, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Devon House Senior Living. She was the wife of the late Kermit Atherholt, who passed away in 2007. Born in Walnutport on November 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Spadt) Binder. Margaret worked many years as a factory worker for Edgemont Manufacturing and retired from Hi Torque in Slatington. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport. Margaret enjoyed traveling the country with her husband Kermit. She was an avid Elvis Pressley fan, and when in better health loved working in her garden.
No immediate survivors. She was pre-deceased by siblings, George Binder, Josephine Markell, Beverly Mack and Ruth Hoppes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 1152 Oak Rd, Walnutport. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM at church. Interment to follow Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
