Margaret M. Kroboth, 98, formerly of Walnutport, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Walter W. Kroboth, who passed away in 1999. Born in Northampton on January 2, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Rosa (Bognar) Pauker. Margaret worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Win-Mar Fashions in Danielsville, as well as other dress factories in the Northampton Area. A faithful parishioner of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport, Margaret was a former member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was a member of the Democratic Club, Danielsville, and enjoyed traveling with the Walnutport Senior Travel Club.
She is survived by a daughter: Susan and husband Byron Miller, Sr., of Walnutport; son: Steven Kroboth and wife Cindy of Walnutport; 5 grandchildren: Angela, Kelly, Stephanie, Byron, Jr., Shannon; 7 great-grandchildren, sister: Rosie Pauker. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Amanda and brothers, Joseph Pauker, John & James Borbacs.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 2pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 1152 Oak Rd, Walnutport. Visitation will be from 1 to 2pm. Interment to follow the Mass at the Parish Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
