Martha Reese

Martha V. "NAIN"쳌 Reese, 95 of Palmerton formerly of Slatington died Wednesday January 9, 2013 at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehab. She was the wife of the late William Reese. Born in Fort Washington, she was the daughter of the late David and Sarah (Owens) Davies. She worked as a legal secretary for Martin H. Phillip Law Office formerly of Slatington and Palmerton. Martha was a member of the Slatington Women's Club, Troop 66 Boy Scouts of America Auxiliary, and the Golden Ages of Lansford. She was also a volunteer at the Slatington Library.

Survivors: Daughter; Polly Ann Steinmetz of Palmerton, Son; Peter V. Reese and wife Candace L. of Slatington. 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son David W. Reese in 2002

Services: 4:00PM Saturday January 12, 2013 Harding Funeral Home 25-27 N. Second St, Slatington. Calling hour 3-4Pm at the funeral home. Interment Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
