Mary Alice Snyder

Mary Alice Snyder, 83, of Medford, NJ, formerly of Dalton and Slatedale PA, passed away peacefully Saturday April 15, 2023, in her home at Medford Leas. Born in Slatedale, PA December 28, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Adele (Scheffler) Sowden. She was a graduate of Slatington High School Class of 1958. Mary Alice worked as a radiology technician for the former Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown. She enjoyed gardening, tennis, sailing and most of all babysitting her grandchildren and their dogs.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Matthew Russell Snyder (Tony Hall), Dr. Randall William Snyder, III (Soomee Snyder); grandchildren Jordan and Brendan Snyder; sisters Marilyn Sowden, Shirley Zellner, Cindy Schramel; nieces & nephews Jennifer Schramel, Bobby Schramel, Timothy Zellner, Jonathan Zellner and Daniel Snyder.

Private family services will be held at the Slatedale Cemetery. No public calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington PA.
