Mary S. Wise

Mrs. Mary (Boldissar) Wise, 92, resident of Mosser Nursing Home, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023.  She was the widow of Henry W. Wise, Sr.   Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Horvath) Boldissar.   She was also pre-deceased by brothers Michael, Frank, John and George, and a sister Theresa.  She is survived by her sister Anna (Vicky) Anders.   
She was a presser for numerous garment factories before retiring in 2003.

Mary is survived by four children: Henry W. Wise, Jr. and wife Darlene; Katherine Dell’Italia; Brian M. Wise and fiancé Susan; Janine and husband Tim.  Grandchildren: John, Michelle, Garrett, Nicole, Joel, and Brianna; Great-Grandchildren: Luca, and Hendrix; numerous extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington.  Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11AM.  Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.   Contributions in Mary’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis TN 38105.
