Mary H. Zajac

Mary H. Zajac, 91, formerly of Walnutport, died July 17, 2022, as a resident Holy Family Senior Living, Bethlehem.  Born July 26, 1930, in Slatington, Lehigh County, to the late Joseph and Mary Veronica Zajac.  Mary has been a lifelong member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic, Slatington and a former member of the church choir.  Mary graduated from Slatington High School with the Class of 1948.  She was employed by the former Keystone Lamp Factory, Slatington in the Lamp Assembly Department for 36 years.
She is survived by a sister-in-law: Vicky Zajac of Kenneth Square, PA; nephews: Joseph Meleski (wife Elaine), Michael (wife Melinda) Meleski; two great-nieces & one great-nephew: Vanessa Meleski, Sandra Meleski & Daniel Meleski.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: John S. Zajac & Joseph Zajac, sister: Anne L. Meleski, brother-in-law: Joseph J. Meleski, sister-in-law: June M. (Miller) Zajac & Godchild: Erica Ann Meleski.
A PRIVATE Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions made for a Mass in memory of Mary to Assumption BVM Church, Slatington.  Arrangements handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
