Matthew E. Marzen

Matthew E. Marzen, 38, of Allentown, passed away August 29, 2012, in Allentown. He was the husband of Heather C. (Tift) Marzen of Walnutport. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Jane Ann Mogilski of Macungie and Edward Marzen and his wife Cathy of Andreas. Matthew was a 1993 graduate of Northern Lehigh HS, and a former graduate of Northampton Community College. He had worked as a registered nurse and in restaurant management. Survivors: Parents; wife; sons, Braden and Logan; brother, Nathan Marzen and wife Madoka; paternal grandparents Edward and Helen Marzen; step-brother Patrick Sander, step-sister Erin and husband Anthony Gnas; six nephews, one niece; several aunts and uncles. Services: 11 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour, 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
