Myrtle Becker

Myrtle “Micki” G. Becker, 84 of Luther Crest Community, formerly of Northampton, died Thursday January 14th in her residence. She was the wife of late Raymond S. Becker Jr. who died last May. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Myrtle W. (Wiegand) Gotee. Micki was an elementary music school teacher in the Allentown and Northampton School Districts. She also won the Allentown teacher of the year award. She owned her own private music studio and also was a choir director.
Survivors: Sons; Raymond Becker III and wife Janet of OK, Matthew B. Becker and wife Brenda Weckerly of Hatfield. Daughters; Marcia and husband Thomas K. Heinick of Kunkletown, Ronda and husband Matthew Gerry of Schnecksville. 13 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.
Services: Memorial Service 5 pm Monday January 18, 2016 at Crest Hall Luther Crest Community, 798 Hausman Rd, Allentown PA 18104. Calling period 4:15- 5:00 pm in Crest Hall.
Arrangements, Under the direction of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington, PA.
