Olivia Yenser

Olivia B. Yenser, 86, of Slatington, died Saturday December 31, 2016, in her residence. She was the wife of the late Earl. C. Yenser. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Gloria (Martinez) Barros. Olivia worked at the former Seilers Mill of Slatington for many years. She was a member of the Assumption BVM church of Slatington and was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a former member of the Legion Post 16, Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors: Daughter; Linda Kistler of Slatington. Brother; Joseph Barros of Philadelphia. Sister; Gloria DeSousa of Lehighton. She was predeceased by two children; Daniel and Michelle Yenser; Brother; Anthony Barros, and Sister Matilda Esteves.
Services: A memorial service will be held Friday January 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Harding Funeral Home, Inc, 25-27 N. 2nd Street, Slatington. Calling hours will be from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
