Pauline I. Young

Pauline I. Young, 95, formerly of Slatington, died August 17, 2022, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall.  She was the widow of the late Dr. Milton W. Young.  Born in Slatington on June 9, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Helen (Schneck) Pugh.   Pauline was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Slatington where she was a member of the Jubilees.  She was a past member of the Walnutport Senior Citizens.  Pauline had worked for PP&L and Joy Manufacturing before becoming a mother.  
Pauline was a devoted stay at home wife and mother and will be lovingly remembered by her son Thomas Young, daughter Cynthia Young, sister Marjorie Fritzinger, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers Randolph, Donald, Russell and sisters, Grace and Dorothy.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington.   Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11am.   Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Slatington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 40 S. Second St, Slatington PA.
