Phyllis R. Rex

Phyllis R. Rex, 76, formerly of Lehighton, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Bethlehem South Nursing & Rehab.   Born in Slatedale on April 30, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Kistler) Rex.     Phyllis worked as a sewing machine operator for various local garment factories.   She was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Slatedale.   

She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters Stephanie Miller and Donna Wedge; grandchildren: Amber Recker, Ronald Miller, Biance Cora.   She was pre-deceased by brothers, Roy and Paul, and sister, Mary Ellen Rex.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Slatedale Cemetery, 8648 Brown St, Slatington.   No calling hours.   Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
