Robert Best

Robert M. Best, 24 of Slatington passed away Monday December 24, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the son of Michael R.C. and Connie F. (Mertz) Best. Robert was a 2006 graduate of Northern Lehigh H.S., where he was a wrestler. He worked as a welder and was a member of Iron works local 36 of Allentown.. Robert was a firefighter with Friedens Fire Co. Friedens, and was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Walnutport.

Survivors: Parents, Brother; Michael R.C. Best II, Teresa J. wife of Scott A. Horack of Slatington. . Paternal Grandparents; Lovette E. and Joanne G. Best of Walnutport. Maternal Grandparents Francis and Lois Mertz of Palmerton. Nieces; Tia and Kyra Horack.

Services: 11:00am, Monday December 31 2012 Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Calling hour, 10-11:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington, PA.
