Robert Binder

Robert L. Binder, 88 of Walnutport died Tuesday September 9, 2014 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothea (Zamadics) Binder. Born in Berlinsville, he was the son of the late Clement and Louise (Spadt) Binder. He was a US Army veteran who served during WWII. Robert worked as an insurance agent for American General. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport, the Walnutport Senior Citizens, and the Lehigh Township American Legion Post 899.
Survivors: Wife, Daughter; Valerie and husband Kenneth Kressler of Treichlers, son, Robert J. Binder of Napa Valley, CA, granddaughter, Katrina, brothers, James & Henry Binder.
Services: Memorial Mass, 10:30am, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 1150 Oak Rd., Walnutport, PA. No Calling hour. Arrangements, Harding Funeral Home, Slatington, PA.
