Robert Gruber

Robert A. Gruber, 61 of Lehighton died Friday August 12, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Karen A. (Rinker) Gruber; they celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary last October. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Betty L. (Zellner) Gruber. Robert worked most recently for Penn Big Bed Slate Co., Slatington for 16 years. Prior to that, he worked for the former NJ Zinc Co., of Palmerton.
Survivors: Wife, Sons; Robert A. Gruber, Jr. and wife Kristy of Frackville, Michael S. Gruber of Summit Hill. Daughter; Tammy Gruber and husband Bradley Ball of Meshoppen, PA. Step sons; Randy Frable of Palmerton, Chris Frable of Emmaus. 9 Grandchildren. Sisters; Donna and husband Greg Romig, Sharon and husband Randy Fronheiser all of Palmerton. Brother; Barry Gruber and wife Sharon of Warwick, NY. Nieces & Nephews. Best friend and companion; Buck
