Ruth A. Kellett, 85, of Slatington, passed away, September 28, 2009, in Mahoning Valley Nursing Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late George S. Kellett. Born in Slatington she was the daughter of the late Amos T. & Margaret J. (Parry) Wassum. She was a graduate of the Churchman Business School in Easton. Ruth worked as a comptroller for the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital and then was the financial manager of the accounting department at Muhlenberg Medical Center before retiring in 1991.

Survivors: Brother, Robert & wife DeLoris Wassum of Slatington, sister Sarah Wassum of Slatington, nephew Eric Wassum of Slatington, nieces, Lynn Wassum of Slatington and Tina Bell of Spotslyvania, VA.

Graveside Services: Private.

Arrangements: Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington, PA 18080.
