Vincent Kralik, Jr.

Vincent Kralik, Jr., 91, of Slatedale, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home.   He was the husband of Lucy P. (Hill) Kralik, who passed away in 2018.   Born in Palmerton on February 27, 1931, he was the son of the late Vincent Sr., and Gertrude (Wanamaker) Kralik.   Vince retired from the Trojan Powder Co. in 1993 as a maintenance foreman.   Prior to that, he worked various jobs for the Bethlehem Steel, NJ Zinc Co., and local slate quarries.   He was a former assistant scout leader in Slatedale.   Vince was a life member of the Slatedale Fire Co, and Emerald Fire Co., a member of the Sokol Club, Palmerton, and St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington.   
He will be lovingly remembered by children: Brian M. Kralik and wife Cathy of Palmerton; daughters: Patti Christman of FL, Karen Bower of Slatington, Toni and husband Anthony Casciano of Roseto; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Rosalie Minnich, and Judith Haas.  He was predeceased by sons, Dennis & Dane Kralik, and a brother William Kralik.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 40 S. 2nd Street, Slatington, PA.   Burial of cremains to follow at Union Cemetery, Slatington.   In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Slatedale Fire Co, 3992 Main Street, Slatedale PA 18079.  Arrangements are being handled by Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
