Walter H. Remaley, 90 of Slatington died Tuesday July 25, 2017 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Florence (Edwards) Remaley; they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last January. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Robert and Sadie (Whiteman) Remaley. He was a US Army veteran who served during WWII. Walter worked for Tarkett in the maintenance department for 42 years. He also did maintenance work for St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield. Walter was the #1 Bulldog fan!
Survivors: Wife, Sons; Walter H. Remaley, Jr. and wife Trudie, and Keith Remaley both of Slatington. Daughters; Donna and husband Hobert Reph of Danielsville, Pamela and husband Russell Pierce of Forrest Inn. 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren. Sister; Betty and husband Tony Love of Summit Hill. He was pre-deceased by a daughter; Lori Brandon, and 2 great grandchildren.
