Warren E. P. Hausman

Warren E. P. Hausman, 88, a resident of Maple Shade Meadows, formerly of Slatington, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022.   Born in Allentown on December 19, 1933, he was the son of the late Elmer and Catherine (Peters) Hausman.   Warren served his country honorably and proudly as a fighter pilot in the US Air Force and was stationed in Japan during the Vietnam War.    He earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.   Warren was a high school teacher for the Whitehall - Coplay School District.  He was a member of Phi kappa Tau fraternity and the United States Ski Patrol Alumni.
Warren is survived by a cousins: Trudie Wetheral of Baltimore, MD, Susan Peters Schmidt of Fredericksburg, VA; nieces: Kathleen Sullivan Ritchey, Kerry Sullivan; nephew: Patrick Sullivan, all of Burlington, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Heidelberg Union Church, 5187 Church Rd, Slatington.    Burial of cremains to follow at the church cemetery.   Immediately following the burial, all are welcome to attend a luncheon held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 40 S. 2nd Street, Slatington, PA.  Arrangements are in the care of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Warren's memory to Heidelberg Union Church.
